On the Home Stretch

Having passed Tuskar Rock earlier this morning the crew of the Round Ireland Challenge are on the home stretch. With just under a hundred nautical miles to go we should be expecting the boat in this evening, with the trip completed in a little over six days.

The boat will arrive just in time for three of the crew, Ben, James and Dave to collect their Leaving Cert results and celebrate both moving onto college and the completion of the Challenge.

Good luck to everyone else getting their results today, and to the crew in the final hours of this tremendous voyage.

After seven days and nights non-stop sailing in cramped conditions - you wouldn't mind if you stand downwind from us when you alight from the boat?

Well done - excellent progress over last few days.
